Reports indicate that air planes carrying food supplies are due to land in airstrips in Guriceel and Dhuso-mareeb in Galgaduud region, to be transported later by land to the flood victims.
The recent rainfalls in the region has affected the Beledweyne airstip, where parts of the airstip submerged.
The Galmudug state said its ready to transport the humanitarian assistance due to arrive in its territory to the flood victims.
